Scan & Deliver
Scan & Deliver is a free document delivery service exclusively for the NLSIU user community including faculty, students and staff. Based on an email request, we provide scanned copies of materials (chapter/article/case etc.,). Due to copyright issues, this service is restricted to only 2 chapters, 2 articles, 2 cases, or content that doesn’t exceed 50 pages.
Note: Users are requested to mention the purpose for which they need the scanned material while opting for this service.
At times, users may need additional or more in-depth information other than what may be provided by the library or the team. In such cases, we suggest external sources or experts that can help address their queries or questions.
With the help of NLSIU IT support staff, we offer technical support in solving issues related to computing, access to wireless network, Remote Access, email accounts, printing, lab and workstation computers, software installation and support, exam software support, basic virus and malware removal. We also provide basic troubleshooting advice for any system or technology related issues.
During the library orientation programme at the start of every trimester, we guide new students on searching library material – cases, articles, legislations, etc. This involves a guided tour of the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), and the subscribed online databases for aiding their research activities. We also provide database training and offer research advice for NLSIU research staff. Besides familiarising new students to all library resources and services, we also plan to provide a demonstration of electronic resources and services available to students.
